BioSometimes I take photos of fires. Then it might be on to another subject like a candid of Vlad or Pandora (kitties) After that I might even take a shot of a flower, or two.
When it's hot out I am generally quite unhappy with life. When I am cold I tend to feel energized.
When I was a toddler I used to eat dead flies and moths that would accumulate on the window sill. Today, if I were to eat some of these same dead bugs I would prefer some Pinot Noir with them.
I like music and I also like meat, but I have never really liked meaty music. Finally, I stand at well over six feet tall, which has had a horrible impact on the shape of my head (ouch!).
I used to be a DJ and tour manager. It was fun, horrific, entertaining and damaging. Also used to put vinyl on turntables (and pretend to mix) in New York City, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Cruz, but now I prefer to play music in my car and look at trees, stars, clouds, colors, airplanes, waves, fields, and train tracks.
My life, as of this moment, consists of professional photography, writing the great 1980's new wave autobiography (a la 24 Hour Party People), and working on a local history picture book of Santa Clara County fire departments. I can also be found in a classroom pontificating about the complexities of government, economics, history, and political mischief.
